U nastavku pročitajte osvrt našeg volontera Marca iz Španjolske na projekt Europskih snaga solidarnosti “Earth’s playground: Forest educational project” koji smo održali u Samoboru (Eko edukacijsko imanje Greenville) od 13.09. do 01.10.2023.

The Earth’s playground project has been a very interesting and enriching experience for me, for many different reasons. It allowed me to keep working and learning in my area of interest while having a personal journey of discovering my place in society and understanding better my motivations and life goals.

I could highlight many moments from it, like the cultural evenings or the cleaning of the polygon, but if I had to pick one that would have to be the creation of the obstacle trail. To have complete freedom to think of an idea and make it happen was really rewarding, especially considering how supportive were the facilitators.

Every project is unique in its own way and Greenville was no different: it was a chapter in which I was forced to realize my own limitations and strengths. An exercise of humbleness, of acknowledging I also need a break from time to time. I was able to do that while being surrounded by many beautiful souls from all around Europe.

I feel really grateful for this experience and would definitely recommended, I wish all the best for the Greenville family and hope to see them again at some point in life.
