ABOUT THE PROJECT: The project is aimed at raising awareness about the problem of peer violence and promoting diversity among children through interactive workshops, forum theater and through the creation of a digital picture book.

ASSOCIATES:
- Lana Jager completed an integrated undergraduate and graduate study at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb and thus obtained a master's degree in primary education. She was employed as a primary school teacher at the Miroslav Krleža Primary School in Szombathely, Hungary. During her studies, she participated in an Erasmus + student exchange where she studied at the Eötvös József Teacher Training College in Baja (Hungary). She is the winner of the Dean's Award for Success in the 2016/2017 academic year. In the Association for Sustainable Development of Positive Samobor, he performs duties in the field of activities for children and youth.
- Sara Jager, Master of Psychology, is a certified STPM teacher and has obtained a Certificate of Adopted Principles and Concepts of Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Collaborative Leadership from HURT (Association for Reality Therapy of the Republic of Croatia). She is the leader of the ERASMUS + project in the Slavuj Kindergarten in Strmec, where she has been employed since 2015. She is a volunteer in the Association of Positives, where she is the coordinator of the local project for children "Nightingale for Africa" and the conductor of workshops within the same.
OBJECTIVE: This project includes over 200 participants in a series of workshops based on non-formal education methods, public campaigns and public events aimed at raising awareness and awareness of the problem of peer violence, adopting methods to prevent it and creating a new innovative tool - digital picture book - which will achieve long-term impact through implementation in further projects and programs to combat violence among children.

IMPLEMENTATION TIME: 12 months

The project will have the following long-term effects on directly and indirectly involved members of the target groups:
- raising awareness of the problem of peer violence;
- multi-level interventions (school, department, children individually and parents, community);
- introduction of educational content to help children cope with violence (life skills);
- empowerment and active involvement of children (peer support, mediation, student councils);
- increase professional knowledge to help children who are targets of violence and children prone to violent behavior;
- involving parents and parent associations to improve the school situation.
