The main goal of this project is the development of social, emotional, cognitive and physical competencies of young people, with an emphasis on intercultural awareness and gender equality, using the method of dance.
BASIC INFORMATION

Age of participants: 18 to 25 years


SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- develop critical thinking of participants;
- raise awareness of issues related to gender equality and ethnic groups;
- provide practical skills for designing and implementing local promotion activities
human rights and gender equality and ethnicity through the dance medium;
- create interest and respect for something new, different;
- make young people visions, willpower and initiative;
- encourage young people to express themselves creatively through various artistic methods (eg dance)
encourage them to be active protagonists in their communities and share their knowledge;
- encourage and develop teamwork skills;
- create interest and emphasize the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle;
- support the mobility of young people through dance connections, intercultural interest and events;
- develop intercultural skills, tolerance, respect and a sense of a common European identity;
- develop language competences;
- provide knowledge about Erasmus + programs and the opportunities it offers to young people.
METHODS AND ACTIVITIES
This project is based on non-formal education methods, which support the active involvement of participants and focus on their self-reflection and documenting learning outcomes. Such methods also encourage young people to choose their own approaches and methods that offer them flexibility and freedom in exploring their emerging interests.
WORKSHOPS
Youth exchanges include the following types of workshops:
- introductory workshops aimed at getting to know each other and building group cohesion;
- workshops aimed at increasing knowledge about the Erasmus + program and the Youthpass certificate;
- theoretical workshops aimed at exchanging experiences and researching topics on gender and ethnic equality;
- practical workshops based on the dance method, aimed at experiential learning of participants, increasing their intercultural awareness as well as awareness of the project topic;
- workshops dedicated to setting personal learning goals and monitoring their achievement;
- workshops dedicated to creating activities and channels of dissemination.

INFLUENCE
This project is expected to influence participants by achieving their learning goals as well as developing a specific set of skills and knowledge. Participants are expected to develop a broader understanding of the impact of human behavior on the environment and knowledge of effective methods to positively use that power to create a more peaceful and tolerant society. Furthermore, this is expected to increase their sense of awareness of gender and ethnic equality, which will benefit primarily their local communities. Based on well-designed activities and methods, participants are expected to launch new actions / movements based on raising awareness of gender equality and ethnicity.
