ABOUT THE PROJECT
Green Getters is a project of volunteer teams funded under the European Solidarity Corps program. You can find out more about the program here.
The goal of the activity is to design and create a botanic garden within the framework of a rural educational economy for children and youth with reduced opportunities.
In addition to contributing to the development of the rural community and creating the foundation for the implementation of further programs in the educational center, volunteers will develop personal and professional skills during the activities. The increase in knowledge in the field of the use of technology in ecological cultivation, planting and processing of medicinal plants and the implementation of ecological programs for children and young people.
ACTIVITIES
Planned volunteer activities are:
- preparation of the terrain for the botanical garden;
- development of the botanical garden concept;
- planting and processing of medicinal plants;
- support in the regular maintenance of eco estates.
In addition to the above, volunteers will participate in the promotion of their activities as well as in daily reflections and evaluations.
