Eco Centric Learning Factory

BASIC INFORMATION

 

This project aims to encourage increasing the quality of youth work , in particular through enhanced cooperation between youth organizations and / or other stakeholders, as well as to improve the international dimension of youth activities and increase the capacity of people working with young people.

The main goal of this project is to transform nature as a learning space by training people who work with young people with a set of competencies how to work using nature as a classroom and teaching medium, based on an ecocentric learning model.

EXPECTED IMPACT OF THE PROJECT

 

The target groups of the project are expected to experience direct positive effects at the level of achieving the specific objectives of the project. The expected impact on the participants is reflected in the development of their personal and professional competencies as the most important intangible results of the project.

Attendees will raise a level of self-confidence and motivation that can significantly improve their work, encourage them to respond effectively to today’s challenges, and develop youth programs that use nature as their most important resource.

Particularly important impact is expected for participants with fewer opportunities , who will participate in this project in order to increase their career chances (both within the sending organizations and in terms of further employment) and develop self-awareness, self-confidence and social skills.

The expected impact on partner organizations is to increase their capacity to design, plan, implement and evaluate outdoor education programs based on the values and principles of ecocentric learning.

U okviru ovog projekta sudionici će steći znanja i vještine koje će unaprijediti njihovu budućnost. Znanja i vještine u području obrazovanja na otvorenom i ekocentričnog učenja pomoći će sudionicima da osmisle i provedu sveobuhvatne obrazovne programe koji odgovaraju
suvremenim izazovima koje predstavlja pandemija COVID-19 po povratku u svoje zajednice.

The expected impact is the development of quality and comprehensive non-formal education programs based on ecocentric principles that will effectively respond to the identified needs of target groups of organizations closely related to current challenges (especially those caused by the COVID-19 pandemic).
