Ecology and sustainable development is one of the core areas of our Strategy for Action.
Our goals within this area and the measures they achieve are:
Goal 1: Develop a culture of caring for the environment and sustainable development
Measures:
- Develop programs aimed at raising awareness and developing knowledge and skills in the field of ecology and sustainable development
- Design and implement campaigns that reach the target groups in an innovative way and raise the level of motivation for inclusion in environmental programs
- Offer additional content in nature based on non-formal education that develops the competencies of participants in the field of ecology and sustainable development
- Develop programs that popularize agriculture and encourage entrepreneurship in the industry
- Encourage networking of local and regional stakeholders in order to jointly develop programs that contribute to environmental protection and the promotion of sustainable development
Goal 2: Develop eco-tourism in the local community
Measures:
- Design and implement quality content based on the basic principles of eco-tourism
- Provide financial resources for business while preserving ecosystems, promoting sustainable development and strengthening the community
- Ensure continuous education of tourists about the features of ecological tourism and introduce them to the culture and traditions of the local area
- Encourage and invest in the preservation of natural and cultural heritage
- Systematically develop enogastrological, sustainable, educational, adventurous, sports and cyclo component of ecological tourism
