After two years, this project story is coming to an end with excellent results, yesterday, March 18, 2021. the final conference of the "Gastro club for smart employment" project was held in Prica Gallery. The goal of this project was to connect the most vulnerable groups on the labor market of Zagreb County with employers through the implemented activities in order to increase their employability.

The holder of this project, financed by European funds with around HRK 1 million, is the People's Open University Samobor, while the partners are the Croatian Employment Service, the Vocational High School Samobor, the Economic, Trade and Hospitality School Samobor, the Association of Positive Samobor and the City of Samobor.

The results of the projects were presented by the Director of the School, Jelena Vojvoda, emphasizing that two new non-formal education programs were developed during the implementation of the project: Electrician for smart houses and Chef-specialist for the cuisine of northwestern Croatia. Samobor Vocational High School, with the support of associates, created a curriculum for the profession "Electrical Installer for Smart Homes" and conducted a pilot program lasting 120 hours, which was successfully completed by 5 participants.

Also as part of the conference, project participants received certificates of completed programs. With this project, unemployed people received support, an opportunity for improvement, training and realization of their business wishes.
