The participants of the Youth for the Community project were introduced to topics and measures within the framework of the City Action Program for Youth, as the basic local strategic document adopted by the City of Samobor for the period from 2019 to 2023.

In addition to the decision-makers, over 200 young people participated in the creation of the Program, who in this way experienced the possibilities of participation and their own contribution in shaping public policies.

The "Youth for Community" project will gather young people again in upcoming activities with the aim of introducing them to the work of the Youth Council, the role of the civil sector in shaping public policies and the work of the city administration.

During the project, participants will create a digital brochure - a guide for active citizenship in the local self-government units where the project is implemented (scope of work of the body, rights and obligations, decision-making processes, role of the Youth Council, strategic documents, etc.)
