The first in a cycle of workshops within our project "Youth for the community!", which aims to increase information and active participation of young people in the local community.

GOAL OF THE WORKSHOP

The aim of the workshop is to familiarize the participants with how local self-government bodies function, how they are elected and the scope of work. Through an interactive presentation and role simulation, participants will be introduced to the decision-making process at the local level >, with a special focus on the role of youth councils and making decisions of interest to young people.

METHODS

The workshop is based on the methods of informal education - discussion, simulation and role play.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Young people aged from 15 to 30 years from the area of the City of Samobor and the City of Sveta Nedelja.

LOCATION

The workshop is held in the GREENVILLE education center Pozitiva Samobor at the address Vrhovčak 61, Samobor. The organizer will provide transportation for participants who need it.
