Strategy

The Association for Sustainable Development Pozitiva Samobor was founded in October 2011 on volunteerism and idealism with the aim of promoting the principles of sustainable development by actively involving citizens in local projects.

Although created spontaneously, in response to the needs of the citizens of the city of Samobor, Positive Samobor is a reflection of complex and organized processes that take place within the organization intentionally or as a sample of activities arising from continuous adaptation to the environment.

The association is based on the principle of sustainable development - development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (Brundtland Commission 1987).

In December 2015, in response to increasingly complex organizational processes and challenges posed to the Association by new projects and activities, the strategic planning process began, which resulted in the development of the first Strategy of the Association for Sustainable Development Pozitiva Samobor for the period from 2016 to 2020 . years.

The second Action Strategy was adopted in August 2020 after a detailed process of strategic reflection and planning, and covers the period from 2021 to 2025.
